Family and Carer Support

Wendy Jackson, and Louise Brookes our Family and Carer support workers visit the stroke ward at Russells Hall Hospital twice a week, usually Monday and Thursday to meet both the person who has had a stroke and their family. We will then contact you 7-14 days after discharge and then as often as you wish.  You are always welcome to contact us at the office 01384 271982.  Wendy, Louise and Alison will also come out to visit you at home and/or offer telephone support.  the help we can offer is flexible to your needs.  We are only a telephone call away.

We provide a free information pack about stroke, other Information leaflets stroke can be ordered from Dudley Stroke Association or downloaded from the Stroke Association website at www.stroke.org.uk
